At the Domaine des Iscles on the banks of the River Durance, the tree-studded 10 hectare campsite will soon teach you what holidays and relaxation are all about, thanks to the region’s gentle lifestyle and the quality of the site’s amenities. Once you’ve had your siesta, though, there is so much to do and see – angling in the rushing waters of the river, the beach on the banks of a lake and the swimming pool. In the heart of this locality stands Florans Castle (17th century) where an international piano festival is held in summer. In the woods nearby is the Cistercian Abbey of Silvacane, one of the "three Provencal sisters" with Senanque and Le Tholonet Abbeys, with the charming simplicity of its architecture.
